CB 250 Nighthawk/ 250 CDu
Does any one know if the wheels from the 250 Honda CDu will fit a 250 Nighthawk as my Nighthawk has a set of crap alloy rims that need a fair bit of work on them and I prefer the look of spoked wheels,

hi
I have a nighthawk, luckily with clean wheels. If I was you I would refurbish yours, either diy or get them blasted and paint them up. I personally don't like the look of the older 250u bikes with spoked wheels.

ditto, its probably cheaper to get them powdercoated than to buy 2 seconhand spoke wheels with corrosion starting in the rim. A friend has just paid 20 quid a rim for powdercoating and they came out great. ( chicargo coatings , mossley, tel-01457 832046)

Surprising what a powdercoater can do to a tired looking set of wheels.....our man up here charges around £30 per wheel with brakeplates included

Its not just that they are tired looking, they both have to have tubes to maintain the pressure in them and putting tubes in tubeless rims is a real ball ache and means that roadside puncture repairs are out as well.
