70 hp, that's not too shabby.

It looks pretty cool as well. Being a three-wheeler though, unless you met the emissions limits, you'd have to pay congestion charge.

I'm not sure it's that much better than a smart car.

There seems to have been loads of these ideas over the years and none have gone into production.

they are saying 84 mpg which is around 100 mpg in UK terms so it's going to be under 100gms per km easily...around 67gms per km...well under the 75 threshold for congestion charge. s regards production...There are prototypes running and they've got the old Chrysler factory at Dearborne going.... We'll have to see...cool though!

A nice looking car indeed, air con included and a good price although we dont know if they intend exporting them to the uk,not sure about the engineering thinking Chrysler....
A few years ago my sister bought a Suzuki with a three pot engine and it drove her mad it had no guts whatsoever, she only had it three month and traded it in for a Ford Fiesta 1300.

It's true, but that trapezoidal two in the front set-up is not only the most stable by a huge factor, it is the most aerodynamic.

Volkswagen built a concept 3 wheeled car around a 1 litre Polo engine about 28 years ago. It was capable of well over 100 mpg and good for around 115 mph which was entirely down to it's shape. I think these wide at the front tapering to a tall narrow rear shapes will be what are common-place in 50 years...Assuming we still have personal transport...
This is the original '86 VW concept. they are looking at a diesel/electric hybrid using a similar platform capable of over 200 mpg at the moment...
