Nice!
Of course the 200 mpg will be at typical Indian road speeds which are likely to be 25 mph or so...remember the original cub claimed 224 MPG...at 22 mph!

Re: Mahindra £500 new bike 200MPG
if it was even £650 with that 5 yr warranty, id have one. 200mpg.. so say 150 ish at our town speeds... still cheap, and if you ran it say 3yr till mot due then flogged it on with still 2yrs warranty and a mot for even half of the new price, that wee bike would be paying for itself. its so cheap you wouldn't be so worried about it being nicked, bumped, scraped etc. but given uk bike dealers, they be wanting to charge 1200+ as it still be competitive with the chinese bikes. likelihood is it will never make it to the uk.. shame though. it might be a bit fugly.. but its cheap. almost a throwaway bike. also has a decent alarm, and immobiliser like a car, and its fuel injected. so surely it could be remapped for a bit more poke, it looks like a cub clone engine but on further reading its a "in house" unit. so dunno if its a straight honda clone, which i doubt as honda do make bikes in india.. and id assume they would get all legal on a competitor in home market copying the engine. for the price the spec is great.

I think a lot of people would, but if it ever did get here I reckon it would cost more like £1200.Cerberus73 wrote:if it was even £650 with that 5 yr warranty, id have one.
Looks good though, simple and purposeful. Like it
