Glad you got the mag.
Put the pic up. This is none Cub section anyway so it should be fine.
Get a cub and keep the MZ and you have best of both words and still cheaper than a used plastic rocket and can be repaired without a computer!
www.themzshop.co.uk has every spare you ever need and cheap.
The owner is mate of mine Phil Speakman. Mention my name (it wont do you any good but I get a pat on the head!).
Keep the oil tank topped up but don't overfill or it can come out of breather which can be messy Use decent 2t (I use semi synth) oil.
I have an ETZ125 Project on ebay at the mo.

Most of sale price goes to NABD
I am also selling raffle tickets for an unmolested ETS150 of 1975 vintage, unused since 1995. Needs decommissioning but too good to restore.
£1 per ticket 5 in a book, free postage. The draw is end June.
I do a bike raffle every year in aid of the Club and NABD.
We only sell abt 600 tickets so good chance of winning.
Which reminds me: Horobags.. How many tickets did you buy? Mmm....

On a different note, pop along to Carrog camp, near Llangollen, N Wales on last weekend of June. We had 80 there last year, 140 each of the 2 years before. U are welcome on MZ or in car van, pushbike or Cub. That is when the raffle is drawn.
Here is a link to the old site MZ Club which works for now.

Just received the mag in the post. Thank you. Also got a couple of older issues from 2011/2012 with the bike. The battered back box had mz riders stickers on too but box was no good do had to go. Guessing an old member had it at some point. The bike is from waterlooville and that area originally. Just fitted a 46 litre back box on it and a cheap alarm. Just enough to deter the scrotes from trying to thief it away! Still not over my cub getting stolen but the police have been in touch touch about the cub and i should be going to view next week in the yard

Hi, have you had much use of your mz since you bought it? How are you finding it? Been looking at a etz 150 for not too much money.

Done about 400 mile. No issues. Starts fine when hot. When cold i kick it a couple of times before turning ignition on then it fires up. Go for it mate. Best two stroke i owned. Built like a tank, cruises at 55/60 comfortable,65 on a still day. Have had 75 out mine but i only did that once. Economical too. IM getting around 80 mpg. Mored defined figure when i next fill up to get a better average.

I bought it because no cubs available but i wouldn't change it now i got it. Mine is based on the etz but different headlamp, tail lamp, indicators and i don't think the etz had electronic ignition. Points i think depends on year though. How much if you don't mind me asking?

Sounds like you had a good deal. Been toying with the idea of getting rid of the cub for something a bit bigger, did that in 2009 though sold the cub bought a honda rebel, kept it 6 weeks then got another cub a few months later, I'd just use the mz if I got one as a run about and something to use in all weather but keep my cub for "best" as i enjoy the cub but don't want to ruin it.
