Centre stand removed today by Billyfix!
We (HE) managed to cut through centre pivot, rear brake side, and then was able to knock pivot out without the need of slitting stand and then rewelding.
Copper Slip on the pivot, refitted the rear brake, pushed in new split pin, shook hands and sat back to admire our (his) work when we both looked down to see the centre stand still laying on the floor wondering why it hadn't been included in the fitting process! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another senior moment passes by but the job is at last done thanks to the Long and Winding Road that leads to Billyfix's door !!!!!!!!!!!!
