Just bought a pair of honda mtx 125's :) one is a parts bike, one is complete (mostly) £300 for both

The good one needs battery and front caliper and a side panel for mot. Need to send off for the v5 as well. Havent ridden it yet, took the parts bike tonight will pick the other up tomorrow. Pretty rough cosmetically but whats there seems to work. Anyone have any experience with them, anything in particular to look out for?

Photo attached is of the parts bike

what a great bike,
been keeping a eye on these on ebay, there is a few clean 125/200 coming over from germany, fetching £1200/2k
Markey will be along soon, ;) he likes them too.

would love a nice clean one.
got a few pics saved on my pc of the MTX that pop up on there
even chose my amateur radio call sign after this bike,

are you putting them back on the road, :?:
engines ok

2 for £300 bargain.

some of the water pump drive stuff is no longer available, not sure what bits,
ive also been hoarding some parts when they pop up, ;) ;)

Good buy, wouldn't mind one myself. Have Germany banned the two strokes? seems to be quite a few strokers coming in from there.

yep, 2 running engines, drove the complete one back today, pulls well to the redline in sixth :)
the parts one is 1985 going from the engine number, the good one is 1996. Need to apply for a v5 as they were both used as field bikes. VIN check came up clear. Just hope I can get a v5 issued from the frame and engine number as no numberplate present
