On the road soon as I can find insurance. As it's not on the Insurers Database the only quotes I have had amount to highway robbery but I will get there. Tried Bennetts, told them (on the phone) it's not on the database. "That's OK - sure we can do it" - 10 minutes later "Can't insure you, its not on the database".bikerbaker wrote:Got the V5 for the Chinese Cub today. It is officially a Kayak Kainuo. Also emailed Minibike Craze re this and mentioned that the electric start was not working. Ah, you have to pull the front brake in! Then I remembered that Sam told me that as I was stuffing it in the car. Old age gets us all in the end.

I'd rather see a return to the old days with a generic rider policy that covers you for riding bikes up to a certain cc etc....or at least that how I remember it being in the 80's...lolbikerbaker wrote:On the road soon as I can find insurance. Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
To be fair when I was riding in the 60/70/80s I was too poor to own more than one bike at a time.gtd65 wrote: I'd rather see a return to the old days with a generic rider policy that covers you for riding bikes up to a certain cc etc....or at least that how I remember it being in the 80's...lol
I'm still poor but am getting used to multi bike policies. I have now insured the Kayak with MyBikeSure (part of Adrian Flux). Being able to talk to a human being (in Narfalk) was a bonus. Not cheap but have started a multi bike policy that I can add the other C90s to when needed.
It's stopped raining so off to the shops now on my Kayak!
