I ordered one Wed eve, should be here soon. Will let you know. I only need the main seal as mine was beyond re-use.

Re: CARB SERVICE KIT
I ordered one a week or two ago. It arrived fine and looks OK but I haven't fitted it yet.

Re: CARB SERVICE KIT
Thanks all,
do me a favour
when they come,
see who made them,
if theres a yellow sticker on the bag (with a 6 or 8 dig number), its pos a high level item or velo sports,
might be able to get a batch even cheaper ( sorry those who have already bought)
but then £14 aint to bad, as ive been told these kits pos make £25 in a bike shop

No clues as to the manufacturer. They arrived exactly as you see in the photo. I haven't opened the bag up but all looks fine. I'm only after the bowl seal as it happens, the rest will be spares.

Cheers Pjam, how do I sort the exceeded upload quota. I don't think I've uploaded that many photos?

The best way, easier for you and it works better on the board, is to use a photo hosting site like 'Photobucket' there are others to. Here's a guide on using them. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3641
But basically you:
1. Upload you photo/photos to the host (photobucket etc)
2. once there your photo will have a menu, select copy. (this copies a link to that photo)
3. in your posting window here click 'Paste'. With photobucket you don't even need to use the 'Img' button.

Re: CARB SERVICE KIT
I have had time to rebuild the carb today. The kit is ok but as far as I could tell there isn't a fuel float valve to suit my 70ZZ, wrong dimension. The o rings are a pretty poor fit and there are various parts that have no place in my carb Oh there is no pilot screw adjuster neither.CONROD-FITTER wrote:not a bad price, Anyone tried this one (85 main jet)

As said I only needed the bowl seal.
