Didnt the shopping channels sell something similair called gator grip (or such) that did the same thing.

I was always tempted but never bought as if they that good why do traditional spanners still sell? Not these

Maybe ideal tour item but would imagine the casting quality would let it down fairly quickley

I viewed this with suspicion at first due to the date.
Bit of a gimmick IMHO but I'm sure there will be the odd time you could use one.

I was bought one of these a few years ago, 7 to 19mm and only tried to use it a couple of times. It takes a bit of fiddling to get it to lock on properly and is only any good on small nuts and bolts when they have flat areas around them which doesn't happen very often in the real world.

I’ve had one of that type but didn’t like it at all,it didn’t work very well for me.
I don’t think it’s an April fool joke because there a video of it working and those jaws move in/out as the outer ring is screwed in or out.

Well it arrived and works pretty well except for the smallest 10 mm setting. You just can’t tighten it up enough to stop it rounding the heads if they are tight. It is also too big to get into small spaces.
But I’ll carry it in my top box just in case.
