Just seen a seat pad for sale there at a “discounted”price of £42,was 80 odd.
I bought one months ago for just over £10.

There are so many scam sites on Facebook now I would not buy anything from there, same with market place I only deal with people face to face and would not dream of sending a deposit.

It can be the same on eBay
The classic was a ' curry hook '......used,rusty and apparently ' rare ' for a tenner
Or about £2 from David Silver.....brand new in a bag

Very true re scam sites. Some are so obvious but still seem to gather interest from the amount of comments added by the gullible.

One such doing the rounds this year from several sources purported to be selling a bike service stand for £50. They were using video and images from Abba Stands, an Essex company. The genuine article is about £500.

The website that was linked is still running, I suppose its all a matter of percentages.

Don't even think about buying ANYTHING off FB marketplace unless you can collect and pay cash.

Even then, aliengravy and I went to look at a car in Brandon, poor girl had had all sorts knocking on her door and it was a scam. A couple of weeks ago someone was advertising a thermal scope, listing postage costs. I asked if it was still available, told yes I said I would come and collect. They gave an address in Cromer. As it was 130 mile round trip I did a bit of googling. Not only was there no one of that name in Cromer, the address was a closed down shop. Exchanged a few questioning messages and was blocked. Another scam.

OK, if you deal with a 'Too good to be true' offer such as in BB's link, use paypal, and save as many screenshots as you can not as web pages which can change, but as .jpg files proper snaps of the screen. using the print screen button?alt Print screen/ shift print screen whatever works on your machine.
When you raise a dispute through PayPal you will have hard evidence of what you believed you were getting, so when they send crap and change the website, you can prove your case.
I've done this more than twice, got a full refund, and kept the goods (Albeit crap) as PayPal accept you cant reasonably send an item back to China tracked.
I got a free drone among other things.

I ordered a visor film from Facebook.It was supposed to be photochromic (darken in sunlight),rainproof and anti-fog.Price delivered £10.98.It’s just arrived today and turns out it is either rainproof OR anti fog,but certainly not photochromic.
I had looked on EBay,but couldn’t find an equivalent visor film so went ahead and ordered it.
There were ones,like the one that’s been delivered,for a lot less than £10.98.
Luckily I had screen shot their advert,and paid thro PayPal so have started a complaint there.

To round off the story wake up this morning to receive a full refund of £10.98 and I get to keep the film,which I will use as an anti fog.Result
For the supplier I suppose if enough customers don’t complain they are on a nice little earner.
