I keep thinking about going to see this one, it's just down the road in Southend and has been up for sale for quite a few weeks. High mileage though and the 400 was not as popular as the others. Think it's been on a couple of sites too.

If I remember correctly, the 400 was a sleeved down Master 500 motor, not an overbored 250 Leader motor.
At the time Piaggio had the Gilera brand and put the 500 motor in the Fuoco. The MP3 400 was more plain Jane to the more radically styled Gilera.
I rode on several Maxi Muppet rideouts with both 3 wheelers and the 400 was just as stable and impressive as its larger cousin.
