Came across these tonight, maybe suitable for the Cub?

They look good,
I Now use the 10 0"Clock method on cubs, ( rechecked with feeler gauges a few times ) But i now trust this on doing cubs.

Please elaborate Alan i've never heard of the 10 o'clock method before , I assume its flywheel positioning whilst trying to feel tappet resistance with your fingers ?

Ok i use one of these, ( dont buy this one as there only £5 from honda... )

you undo the lock nut and turn the tappet until it touches valve,
then look at 12 0"clock on the tool and turn it anticlockwise to 10 0"clock

hold it in the position and tighten up the nut, Try it a few times and check with Feeler gauge, near spot on every time.

Undo locknut, lightly tighten the tappet 'till it contacts the valve head then back off 10 minutes of a clock face and tighten locknut.

I did the maths on this years ago, thread pitch to angle of turn and it is accurate.
