Re: new wave 100
Could you actually register those in the UK/EU now, due to Euro 4?
They were built when Euro 3 wasn't enacted.

You may be able to register through MSVA and get a Q plate.
Makes it difficult to insure though.

So long as you can prove it's over 10 years old and have a NOVA number it can be registered. If not it's a royal pain in the a###. Ask me how I know.

30-40 Quid for a frame and V5 from a UK breaker and a weekend of your life changing it all over.
Gives you a chance to give it a full service as well.

Did they make them as 100cc not 110?
The ad doesnt mention if the import duty and nova cert is sorted out does it?

I spoke to them a couple of weeks ago,' the nova isn't sorted but easily done off the vin number.'The 100cc wave was mainly made for the Asia market, a very reliable engine.Mattt wrote:Did they make them as 100cc not 110?

they are open to offer matt, working out what it will cost to register and get on the road, then make an offer, still might work out a bargain new honda even if old stock.

Re: new wave 100
Listing seems to be ended now but as they are new you would have to go through a SVA (think that's what it's called) anyway it's the VOSA full test to see if the vehicle complies with current UK ruling. Bet you will have to change the tyres ('cos they won't have the correct writing on them) and a myriad of other little things. As said earlier "it ain't worth the effort"
