I recently had my C90 stolen..I managed to recover it thank god.
The ignition sitch was removed and the bike riden away.
My problem now is the bike runs without an ignition switch, the lights work but nothing else,
I have no indicators no nutral switch and no brake lights.
Has anyone any idea as to what the thief has done to my bike.
Please help if you can

Re: Stolen C90
Your battery has been disconnected or has no charge. Your horn, brakelight, neutral and indicators all run from the battery. Hopefully your problem is as simple as this.
Ps. Glad you got the bike back in such good condition. Others havent been so lucky.

Re: Stolen C90
Have you put a new ignition switch on and is it connected correctly? the bike will run without the ignition switch connected and also the lights will work because they run off the generator not the battery.

Re: Stolen C90
The ignition switch has four wires.
When you turn it to 'on' it does two separate jobs..
It connects red (12v from battery) to black (12v to accessories) ...
This will get the indicators , neutral light, brake light, horn etc working
It also disconnects black/white (cdi ignition module) from green (earth) allowing the bike to run.
earthing the black/white stops the engine.
A good anti-theft measure for the future is fitting a hidden switch to connect this black/white wire to earth somewhere near the cdi unit, so that the bike can't be started no matter what is done to the ign switch.
You can also do this to the blue/white wire on the cdi.

Re: Stolen C90
Your problems won't be resolved until you fit an ignition switch. What you describe is what they do without one, or when it's disconnected.
