That's quite a claim and I reckon accurate too!Newtsalad wrote:I reckon the auto clutch is unbeatable off the lights! I can beat ANYTHING! for about 10 metres!
In London you'll get quite a variety of bikes waiting for the green light ....... Cub wins every time, as you say for the first 10 metres, I usually had 5 metres on them before they find a gear! not the same with the ANF sadly.

Re: Hi there
Leap-frogging I call it. They tear off from the lights all roars and revs and then I poodle up beside them at the next set. Some of them don't half get mad at that.Pjam wrote:That's quite a claim and I reckon accurate too!Newtsalad wrote:I reckon the auto clutch is unbeatable off the lights! No.. It works the opposite way.simon3314 wrote:Ok thanks for that. I presume you have to bridge the ignition contacts to connect the circut?
The switch connects the black/white wire to earth to stop the engine and disconnects it to allow it to run.
The ignition system is nothing to do with the battery or 12v system.. It's self-contained, powered by a separate generator coil at fairly high voltage AC.
