JB-fabriction new to forum

Post by JB-Fab » Sat Feb 18, 2012 12:26 am

Hi Guys, I run a small fabrication company and make a number of different engine and frame stands. Have recently been asked to make one for a mates C90 and will be putting them on Ebay shortly but happy to offer discount to forum members. Is this allowed as I dont want to upset anyone on here. If there is interest please let me know where to post and if you would like to see a picture.

cheers

Jon

I dont know if it really is. Some on here do supply and sell goods but thats not their main reason for being here. We're all here because we have a genuine interest in the cub range of bikes. Post some pics and prices and tell us more :D.

We do allow it if its seen to be a good benefit to club members I.E A good product, good feedback from those that have bought and tried it, and obviously Good Member Discount!

You could send a few prototypes out for review ;)

Hello and welcome to C90Club!

I'm a sucker for a courteous introduction, steaming in with stuff to sell normally get's a deletion!

Always handy to have someone with fab. skills locally. Best thing will be, when you have some happy customers who feel you are worth recommending, get them to add you to the 'Recommended Suppliers' section.

We're extremely unlikely to get involved in comments if you are selling here, so it's really up to you to build /protect your reputation.

Good luck! :D :D :D

cheers guys, happy to provide 1 FOC to someone, cant do more sadly as I am a fairly new business and cash flow is tight at the moment. They are 27.50 plus postage on ebay but for forum members I can do £25 fully inclusive of postage. I made the prototype for a member on here so hopefully he will start a thread. The final design will be slightly different to the one shown as I realised that there is no need for the overhang on the base at the rear so this will now be square making the base legs reach further forward if that makes sense lol Please ignore the web addy for now as I am just in the process of setting up the site but you can view my facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/jbfabrication or view my ebay feedback my id is Jon1739 do a search on C90 engine stand and you should find me. Always looking for new ideas and will always do a great deal for those that help out :D

how about another attachment to slide into the box section of the rear and use the other top engine fixing as well to hold a coil and small fuel container, :?:
if you make one of those, for your frame i would have both, as this would allow me to start the engines up right after a rebuild,
just supply the fixings on the upper frame to hold a coil and petrol tank... :)

i do a Lambretta test bed frame which allows you to run the engine and has a small fuel tank and thumb throttle, will get a picture posted to give you an idea so that wouldnt be a problem at all. :D
