Hello everyone , names john , from leicester area , found this site looking for c90 info and its been very very helpful, got a 88 honda c90 around 2 years ago , 35,000 on clock , engine runs well but rest of bikes in a sorry state , only just got around to doing some work on it , will also be banging a 110 or 125 into her at some point , will be posting questions when I could do with some advice , any help will be much appreciated, so bye for now everyone

Thanks and I will try to get some pics sorted , well I got rust but it could be worse , all plastics need replacing as there all scratched , cracked , smashed , Ide say just about everything on the bike could do with been replaced or cleaned up, painted , in some way , only 1 previous owner but not a very careful one!

John, don't worry about fixing it up like new, just get it functioning as Soichiro intended, and make your own mark(bodges) on it! :D

Hi and welcome .check out parts for sale as Krazy kev has a lot of plastics for sale,or they are also available new, did you say what colour your bike is. Red is fastest ;)

Haha, ye I get what your saying , I just keep seeing all these MINT ones in the pictures etc and mines sat here looking like its been nicked and left in a ditch since 2000 , and it WAS red

Oh yes, that's the look 8-)

Half of those mint ones when seen in the flesh are not so mint really, internet low res plays tricks like that. As newt says, if mechanically good the rest is cosmetic ........ though I do prefer a seat without rips .... or it'sa damp bum all the time.

Ye I no about that , when I got it the seat was all foam coverd in brown parcel tape , and when pushed water came out. Now been replaced by a good condition original of a mate
