Just bought a cub and joined the club

Post by ETZ251 » Tue Jan 17, 2012 6:02 pm

Hi yall I just got a cub and need bits already! the front forks are a bit bent and it prefers steering to one side. Seems i may be one of the only cub riders in Aberdeen but i dont mind. I would rather be riding my ETZ 251 but nothing fills a cub shaped space in your life like a cub so Here I am. Luc

welcome :)
if the forks are pointing in the wrong direction you can grab the front wheel between your knees and haul on the handlebars to bring them square, just like you would with a bicycle.

hell thats a fair trip on a cub, i was thinking of holland belgium and germany, and sinbad has invited us over to ireland in summer for one of the cub runs there... depends how well the bike is running. am sure one of the boys here might have a spare set of forks for your cub. am rebuilding my blue one as a tourer, screen, panniers, spine and front guard racks, top box. and extra fuel capacity via a small lawnmower type square tank. and extra lighting. halogen front lamp etc. what age is your cub, is she a 6v round lamp model or a 12 volt square lamp job? breaking point are nigh on useless for cub bits, as they race them in moped marathons and keep any that come in for themselves to keep there race bikes going.
