Welcome to the club my friend, you'll enjoy it here.
Make sure you change the oil at least every 1000 miles, and dont use synthetic, most cheap oil from supermarkets and the like will do

Looks like a good solid one. What kills old Cubs is always frame rot around the rear end, so a great thing to do is get the rear wheel out, give under the arch a good clean, sort out any bits of surface rust you may find (with a phosphoric acid based rust convertor such as Jenolite or Kurust) and give it a good protective coat of underseal / wayoxl etc. Good insurance for the long term.
Obviously it all needs to be dry for this, so probably best left as a springtime project with the current damp weather we're having.

Re: JUST GOT ME A C90 !! NEWBIE
Matter of choice really, some would say the 12 volter is better ........ no points to worry about, can be thrashed harder etc, but there are a few plus points for the 6 volt bike, bigger tank and nicer styling for example.c90cubkingz wrote: newbie question whys the 6 volt better than 12 ???
