Thanks
Thank you to newtsalad for untangling my web ie registration problem. I was introduced to this forum by a clutch of C90 cub club members who I stumbled across the other day at the top of Parbold Hill, they were out for a run and kindly invited me to join them. Alas I had to decline their offer as my S90 keeps seizing when the engine gets hot and attempts to climb a hill, and I just had to get back and have another go with it be all and end all! I,m sure know what I mean. Hursty :

Re: Thanks
Hello and welcome ..the problem of older engines seizing up seems quite common... The present unleaded fuel burns hotter which could be part of the problem, these older bikes did thousands of miles before so what has changed? Extra cooling for the engine would help and perhaps a bit mor clearance for the piston. Would fully synthetic motor cycle oil help? some say it is no good in a cub but it will stand higher heat and stay in grade....I will have to get an older bike and try it out....

I was looking at your list of bikes, amazing! You've been either lucky or clever?
