Looking for a bike
Hi everybody I’m searching for a c90 or similar small bike in the Southampton area. I’ve been lurking on here and on eBay, gumtree etc and there’s not a lot about locally so thinking of going further afield and jamming the bike in back of my Kia hatchback. Has anybody done that? Maybe drop the front wheel out ?and tie the boot lid down. Any other old gits on here ( I’m 71? )

I was interested in this (still am) but life has seriously got in the way of viewing & storage facilities went south so I'm guessing it's not meant to be for me

Re: Looking for a bike
The thread linked by 125erCrazy is worth considering IMHO. I've seen it (not with a view to purchase) and it's a good honest bike that hasn't been messed with. The vendor (SouthendMike) hasn't marked it sold.
As to getting it in a Kia hatch it depends on which one and your ingenuity, people have got them in some surprisingly small vehicles. You just take bits off until it fits, the rear wheel and plastic mudguard will come off in minutes. I'm 5 minutes down the road and could be available to hinder loading up, I'm 72.

Re: Looking for a bike
Thanks for all the replies Southend is a bit too far ( used to be mornings run when I was on the lorries!) guess I’ll keep looking and take my toolbox with me. I figured if I fold the rear seats and passenger seat down I’d be able to squeeze one in hopefully from a bit closer. Or just spend a bit more and get a runner.
