New member from Brisbane

Post by w3stie » Mon Jul 24, 2023 12:00 pm

I just found this forum and it looks like a great resource. I’ve had a C125 for 18 months or so and just picked up this 1966 C90 cub. It’s registered and roadworthy, but needs a bit of work.

I look forward to chatting to other cub fanciers and getting some tips and tricks.

Cheers
Rob

Ps not sure how to put the image inline?

Could you call at my uncle Tony's house in North Lakes and tell him he's a mongrel?

Welcome to the forum.

G'day!

My good friend Darren (DD) lives in Brisbane and rides a postie bike.

He's a pom. Say hi if you see him.

Welcome to the forum.

I’ll do what I can but there a lot of those things around. Postie bikes that is.

My son lives in Geelong which is only 1800km away. He has my Postie in his garage, not seen it for 5 years but planning a 3 month visit later this year. The bike is kitted for adventure but sadly at 71 I'm not.

Sitting for 5 years, it will probably need two kicks to start it ;)

Thanks mate it’s pretty original but has a few mods from who knows how many owners. I plan to keep it as is apart from safety and mechanical issues.

Just testing the postimage method for online images.

I’m having a ball riding this little beastie around the neighborhood. Still haven't figured out the cold start procedure. It starts first kick when warm though. Jobs still to do, lubricate or fix the throttle cable as it’s very stiff.
