Dropping by to say hello

I'm Jeremy, live in West Suffolk and currently use a Japanese import Yamaha Gear 50 to check cattle - in the Summer up to 30 miles from base

Now looking at a second bike to go touring, visit my new Grand Daughter and have a higher top end speed for safety on the main roads; current thinking Innova / C125

Ha. No cattle but it's amazing how many miles in a week you do checking

My 9kg Collie rides in the box . I can also take the plastic sides out for a bale of hay. Front basket usually has a small part filled bag of nuts, a halter and tagging plier bag for new born calves

Herd prefix is TwoMills as we're the last village to still have a working windmill and a working watermill

That's not my house by the way !

I’ve had both bikes, still got a C125 a great bike, but I think the Innova is simpler in design and easier to work on.

Welcome! I always enjoy riding around Suffolk whenever I can, best done on my own, without a plan on a nice day. Visited Pakenham a year or two ago on one such bimble.

All started when I was 15 when cycling between Youth Hostels with a schoolmate, I can remember staying in Haughton Mill and Naughton Mill. Might have to plan a route to look at them again sometime.

You'd be welcome anytime to swing by on a bimble ..............

I have cattle at Assington near Sudbury in the Summer and also near Woodbridge at what I term #SuttonMoo

One of the joys with my little Gear 50 is finding the back lanes and different variations . Last night I came back from Assington via Boxford, Kersey, stopped at Bildeston for fish and chips and then through Buxhall and Woolpit

This place is very addictive. I'm reading more and more and now I'm even more undecided on another bike

Vision 110
SH Mode
SH125
C125

If the NIU electric scooter had more real World Winter range then I'd consider one of those but 80 miles on the sales blurb is no good when it's less than 60. I was of a mid to push my AP50 the last mile home when I ran out of juice at 16 but I'm blowed if I'm up for any of that when I'm 60 !

I've been eyeing up an Innova lately as well. They look like a pretty fun bike and came in a carb and fuel injected version of the years. There seems to be a few for sale but they can command quite a hefty price for a decent looking one. Every so often I see one for an alright price and think it would be fun to get one and make a project out of it

Yes they seem to be getting expensive now for a low mileage one
