Konichiwa

Post by Lucky Pete » Sat Sep 01, 2018 6:13 am

Hi everyone

I'm an Aussie who lives up in the northern alps of Japan in a town called Hakuba which is famous for its skiing/snowboarding. I own a bar and some short term rental apartments with my wife who is from here.

Yesterday finally picked up what I think is an '86 or thereabouts 50cc. It runs like a top and will be a nice bike with a little work. The wife may end up with this one whilst I find another which is a bit rougher to hot rod.

Thanks for letting me join (especially the mods/admins) and thanks in advance for all and any help.

Cheers
Pete

Thanks all for the warm welcome, yes definitely living the dream. Love it here. Even better now I have the cub

Oddly enough we do have accomm if anyone is coming over, Hakuba Downtown Apartments and also own a cafe/bar (Lucky Petes) so life is good :) ;)

Looking forward to learning a lot and hopefully contributing where I can.

Cheers

Welcome, and any photos or write ups on Cubs in their native country would be great.

Maybe David Attenborough would be better ... unless it's from an island populated by genetically modified dinosaurs.
