Which Model is it

Post by Idle John » Wed May 02, 2018 4:54 pm

Hi Guys, many thanks for letting me join, I have a question.
I've just bought a 1971 C90, its in great order but needs an exhaust. BUT! I have no idea what model it is, someone told me ZZ, but they seem to be much later. I can find exhausts for 1975 onward, but not before. If I knew the model it'd be a great start.
Many thanks

It is wait for it . . . . . . . a C90 :o The Z2 and ZZ came later ,have a look at Boo`s Spotters guide in the discussion area.
Wemoto list an exhaust for your bike but it is £36 ~ :o  .
Stick the year of your bike on your details along with a rough location.
Welcome to the madhouse...

I have one hanging up in my garage from when TPG (across the road from Wemoto) moved premises. It's not badly made. Whether it fits properly or not is a different matter entirely. 8-)

Cheers Guys, I found out last night that its simply a C90, I'm in no hurry so will keep an eye on ebay, maybe something original and in good order will make an appearance. It been restored years ago and had a copy exhaust fitted, the bikes lovely but the chrome has fallen off the exhaust!
I also note that the fitted carb has no choke cable fitted, and I can't see where a cable would go, did the earlier ones have the choke lever directly on the carb? If so this has a later carb fitted. Oh the joys
