Hi New here
Names Steve and live in Doncaster been into bikes for years at the moment got a triumph street trip and a Honda nc50 express 1980 ,just acquired a 1975 Elephant grey C90 6v been stored for a good while and I'm just trying to get it back on the road.. had it running with a friends/members battery waiting for mine that's on order before I get started..
Sorry instantly onto a couple of questions firstly 4 holes in front mudguard for sharks fin plate, is it possible to get the plate holders these days or is it better to make some and the next question is can I have reg numbers on front and back in the old style black and silver first registered 23..06.1975
thanks in advance.......

Re: Newb
Hi welcome to the club , Number plates are available but yours would have been white front and yellow on the back when new. But now you can fit them on any historic vehicle
The brackets have been discussed before but I am not sure of the outcome ,may be the search box will bring an answer. Have you read Drag 90`s battery upgrade for the C90 6volt ,it is in the guides lower down the page.
Enjoy the bike and see if you can get to our Matlock meet in June
Have you got a spare engine and wheels for the NC50 ? my wheels have the spokes rusted through and the engine full of water and crap is a good door stop.

AHH ok thanks for that , il stick the yellow and white on it ..been searching for the shark fin plate brackets but had no luck so far, I reckon it wont be a hard job to make some up and regards the express I haven't sorry I had a couple but sold one to grab this c90 .The Express seems to be creeping up in price so mines tucked away in the back of the garage.
Will look at Battery upgrade and il be at Matlock meet in June.
Cheers again...

Re: Newb
Probably not the type of holder you require but Tippers do plates and at least one type of bracket.

Re: Newb
Welcome!
For the front number plate, I looked into it for the holes in my 1964 C110. I couldn't find anyone selling the correct brackets for the 4-hole fixings, but I figured that it shouldn't be too difficult to adapt a pair of L-brackets for each end. However, the problem I ran into was that nobody could make me a 7-digit plate without it overhanging the front of the mudguard. Hopefully you've got 6 digits and won't have the same problem.
