Don't discount an early 6 volt c70.....round headlamp, good performance and if you get a red one,a great colour
Yes, I love my 6 volters :D
The main drawback I find is that if you want to go swimming, the 12v loves it, whereas mine cuts out a lot quicker so have to take it steady

Yep do discount them... they're crap. Despite looking good! (Newt lobs grenade into the thread! )

EDIT: I should have read Spikeys post properly. I believe the early C70's are easily converted to the later 12v Cdi engine. The early 90's, 6v OHC...pfffft!

Good point, thanks :)
Added now- Streatham in South London
Look out for, or PM Tony1. He turns over loads of 90's, he's fair on price, Upminster way.

I have a C70C with 12V 110 engine as well. Definitely the way forward!

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I'll be keeping my eyes open for both C70's and C90's then.

I did spot this one, near where my family live:

https://www.gumtree.com/p/honda-motorbi ... 1291070802

-Does any one know whether this model of bike would be recommended?
-Can anyone see any issues with the fact that its been imported from California?
-Any thoughts on the price?

Thanks,
Tom

I think it's a lot of money for what it is, TBH.

Agree with Jim on price, possible insurance issues being an import?

Off topic slightly but reading the spiel on the advertised C70 exactly what "extras" did the American market cubs come with as stock showroom sold ?.
