Howdy / JAPAN

Post by SDR » Sun Mar 04, 2018 1:15 pm

Howdy
2002 Honda C50 with a 70cc bore kit.
Have a 125cc Lifan waiting in the wings for a few parts, header pipe etc.

For a few yrs myself and a couple of a mates had the idea of getting some cubs for some clowning around.
Often see groups of Cub & Monkey, Ape riders ripping up the twisties, that's really what got us started.

We're all heading towards off rd forest trail builds, being that we spend a lot of time offroading on heavier bikes,
that you just cant lift over fences and landslides.

Really enjoying going back basics with these bikes the carb tuning, fork changes etc, all fun stuff.

Looking forward to a great looking forum, Neil

wightegi; Japan, Tokyo outskirts

The forks are off a XR100, despite net advice, that it will go straight in.. will need to extend the tree 25mm.
The XR wheels, prob with a takegawa swingarm. all good ;)
