Hello gang,
Been trawling through the club threads for
The last month or so - endless help getting my (not so) new (Blue) 1979 c90zz going again! Carb cleaned and oil change as well as a change up of the fuel lines, a new filter, battery and the old girl is running like a dream(ish).
I've just imported one of My dads old 1979 c90s from the uk over to France.. Bit of a nightmare changing over the documentation but nearly there. Shoot me a message if anyone needs any help getting that kind of paperwork sorted - I can send you in the right direction.
I only have one issue with my cub not sure if it's a problem or not really - she cuts out when I fully disengage the choke - regardless of weather or revs. It only runs when the choke is a engaged let's say 1/4 - it cuts out any less thank that. The carb surely doesent belong to the c90 as its a manual choke and the airbox fitted isn't like any I've seen on the forum,
Although it is a keihan. I've checked for air leaks on the manifold and it seems sealed up - it smells to be running a little rich but it's ok!
Any ideas?
Happy riding! Any other members in Paris give me a shout!

Hey, welcome!
The choke is an issue. You should be able to disengage fully. Are you familiar with the way the carb works?
We have good friends in Le Raincy. We'll be over to see them again at Easter. If you need anything bringing, let me know!

Please let the forum know when you have successfully registered and insured this bike and are legally riding it in France.
I know of many people who have given up trying to get a Cub road legal over there.
