Hi I'm Steve, just taken early retirement six months ago.
I bought a '67 registered c110d ( in boxes) a few months ago and have just started the refurb
The frame and metal work is all really good. The only welding req being for cracks in the number plate/ rear light mount
I would guess it's been in boxes for years.

I'm sure the engine is a replacement as it has a 3 speed gearbox but there's a 4 speed
gear set in the box, once I get the paint done that's the next job.
I've been reading through the forum and very much enjoying it
I have a few older bikes, and was into restoring old British bikes 20 years ago, but they have all gone now
This c110 is getting back into restoring, I'm enjoying doing it
Thanks
Steve

Thanks very much I have really enjoyed the last two weeks in the shed. I'm still trying to get the paint work something like, I decided to brush paint, but there's a lot of work between coats getting it flat.
Yesterday I made one decent pair of shocks out of 4
All the chrome is dull but intact enough to use, I want to retain the bikes age.
Front forks and tank to reassemble today
Don't mind being of assistance barker..

Nowt wrong with a decent brush paint job.

I do get very hot under the collar seeing pre-WW1 bikes with spray painted 2 pack.
