Hi,

I am Mariano from Argentina, recently I have bought an old C90.
I like to repair and restore things, this might be some fun for me.

I hope this forum can help me with information and tips / hints with the process.

first question: what year / model is this C90?

Hi mario and welcome to the forum.

Your bike is not a version that would have been available in Europe, it has a separate fuel tank bolted to the frame which would usually denote a 6v electrical system and contact breaker points ignition system on the engine - however your engine appears to be a CDI motor.

I know some South American versions had a 6v CDI motor - how many cells does the battery have?

If I was to guess I’d say your bike dates from 1976/77 as the keyswitch position would indicate a ‘ZZ’ Type model, does it also have the rotational gearbox so you can go from 3rd gear to neutral when stopped?
