Hello everyone my first C90
Hello everyone i have just joined and bought a c90 (loving it, apart from the duel carriageway) i have a picture i will have a search on the forum for uploading pics tomorrow. My beast has done 33000 miles and the gear changes are taking some getting used to (clunk bounce) but it is so much fun to ride i wish i had one years ago. My other bike is a KTM 950 adv S 2005 im only 5' 9" and with 9.6" of suspention travel it is a pain to move around with short legs, i have had sports bikes and to be honest going fast and no where got boring so i wanted a bike that could do it all and take me and my missus on holidays, but i also wanted to be able to use it more for the general day to day stuff which is hard going in comes to C90. My first experince of a C90 was trying to find one that wasnt totally shot to bits and close enough to ride it home two years later here i am (im picky), i bought this one for £870 about 30 miles from home and riding it on the duel carriageway at 55mph top with trucks buzzing past was an experince to say the least but i had more fun on the C90 than i have had on any other motorbike, the suspention is hilarious with little to no damping and only an inch or so of travel bouncing around with people looking at me like a nutter it was great. It has had a new piston fitted before i bought it the guy i got it from also gave me a set of new brake shoes front and rear for free he had the intent to fit them but didnt get around to it, bonus, the only issue is the front brake spring is missing its retaining washer thing so a zip tie came in here, any help locating the proper part would be great i will post in the proper area later.
thanks for reading glad to be a part of the C90 group

Welcome and a good choice.
You might want to swap the rear shocks for some adjustable ones, they'll make a lot of difference to the 'bounce'.

Welcome to the club.
If you want to have some damping on the rear suspension it's possible to get ones that actually work for about £40.The fronts not so simple.
It's the best single improvement you can make.Do a search for more info.

Welcome!
Owned different types of bikes also, but the little Honda's always seem the most fun overall!
And I have standard rear shocks but also find it quite fun bouncing around everywhere.. I'm sure my back however, will disagree in a few years!

The pogo rear shocks are bad . Davebike (in recommended suppliers ) can sell you some adjustable ones , and if you ask he may have any other bits you need

If you are finding it difficult to change gear the clutch needs adjusting .
The lever is also the clutch pedal so wind the revs off ,push down all the way and bring the revs back on as you release the pedal.
If the bike wants to pull away with the pedal all the way down in first it is the clutch.
