Hey everyone

Post by Tugsy » Mon May 08, 2017 5:56 pm

Hi I'm new to the C90 thing but have always found the cool and retro. I am looking for a project one to custom and make it a little hot rod looking moped. I am happy to find this site so I can ask people opinion and if they have done it get a few ideas.

Hope to chat to a few of you over my blood sweat and tears project

Welcome and goodbye....

Moped ...

With nearly 100 million built now the C bike is still number 1 .Lots of people build custom cubs, but not many ride them so get a bike and try it in standard form first go on an adventure ,come to on of our meets there may be one nearby .Where are you ?

Strictly speaking, mopeds are driven by both an engine and by bicycle pedals, but in common usage and in many jurisdictions the term moped is used for similar vehicles including a scooter, though this is quite erroneous and those guilty face being nailed to a cartwheel by their ears

Weighty, don't be so nasty. Welcome to our new member. My advice is do not bobber, chopper, customise it, rat bike it or wreck it. Keep it standardish.

Bogger...the really really nice bloke

Sorry for the (moped) comment!! Didn't mean to offend... but I ride a R1 as a daily so it was just a natural thing to say as can't be classed as a big bike. So my mistake!

That got a few more replies than usual . Cubs are great for trips to the supermarket for that thing you forgot plus a few beers. I have also been to the Dragon on mine 3 times at least 250 miles each way with my extra 6 litre tank I can do it non stop .
So welcome to the best bike club in the world :D

I've just finished editing a video of an R1 on the A44 from Worcester to Rhayader. Nice bike.
