New owner on Isle of Wight
Hi Guys,
New to C90s. Picked up a 1997 Cub C90 Economy from a friend cheap, plan to get it roadworthy and use through the summer.
Used to ride them on farmland as a kid, so always fancied one.
Mine has done 35k and been sat in a shed since 2009/2010.
Thanks
Dave

Welcome to the club , it is a bit cold and frosty to ride today so best spend time fixing the bike. All you may need to ask is on here somewhere. Stick a rough location in your details and see if you can get to one of our meets , the New forest on in august is just over the water from Yarmouth.
I am in Newport.

Re: New owner on Isle of Wight
Thanks,
Yes a little too chilly out there. Bike hasn't been road legal since 2010. Got new chain and sprockets with the bike, may need to rebuild the carb and general checkover, all electrics work and Tyres are reasonable.
Body and panels are a little tatty, but everything is there.
Just plan on getting it MOT and on the road in the spring, then maybe do a tidy up/restore a year or two down the line....
I'm not far from you, at Staplers/Newport.
Joined up here so I can learn a little bit and find parts/info as and when needed - to keep my C90 running.
(I'm also on the Subaru legacy owners club)

Welcome. You will have to tag along with Wightegi on some of the runs. I'm sure he will break you in gently with a short 200 mile to the camp site.

Looks great cosmetically anyway, fella. The patina of faded plastics is great.L666GTB wrote:Just plan on getting it MOT and on the road in the spring, then maybe do a tidy up/restore a year or two down the line....
