fitting a side stand

Hi there,I'm trying to fit a kick stand to my 1995 c90, can't see where it should go. Help appreciated. Andy

If it didn't originally have one then the fitting for it won't be there.
You'll have to try and find a set of foot pegs with the stand already fitted.
Is yours a kick or leccy start bike?

leky. I dont know if it originally came with one. Did some models have both?

Sidestands disappeared from UK Cubs in the early '90s thanks to health & safety legislation for new bikes..
An engine cut-out became required if you put it in gear with the stand down, so Honda just got rid of the stand. :roll:

You need a footrest bar from an earlier electric start version.

The kickstart-only model has a narrower engine case on the left, so it won't fit the leccy start engine.

It's nearly always leccy start sidestands you see on ebay. I've had a couple on my kickstart bikes, you just need to adjust the gear lever. (In my case I just bent it outwards a little)
But you won't need to do that with your leccy bike.
