"Recently got caught up in some drunken pub talk that now seems to be looking like becoming reality. Next year ten of us are planing to do the John O'Groats to Lands End via the west coast all on C90's, to raise funds for vairous charities.
I bought one off fleabay and probably paid too much but to be fair the seller was a decent chap and its in pretty good shape.
I found this site while trawling the net and have found it right useful.
I will keep posting on our progress.

since then a few things have changed, firstly the bike I bought another C90 from Fizzydaze (cheers Ant) a nice little 1975 C90 that now has its V5, MOT, will be taxed soon and is nearly ready for the trip. Secondly Numbers have changed, I expected one or two to drop out but at one point we were down to just four, now we're back up to seven definates all with C90s. The Various charities has now become one charity which is Katherine House Hospice, its a local hospice who do great work but rely on charity fundrasing.
We have set the date for June 18th and we're thinking about five days but its not going to be a mad dash, and nothing like Nutter and Newts under 24hr adventure which was truly amazing. Im going to have to nurse the old girl along and finish on the back of the bike or vicea versa.
I have most of my kit, I have a beautifuly hand built stainless steel rack thats very light onto which I will be bolting a small additional fuel tank just to make sure I can get a fair distance between fuel stops.
Cant wait to get cracking now.
I'll get some pictures posted up as we get nearer to the day.
Regards
Plumbob.

Excellent. I'm sure we'll be able to get a small Lancastrian posse to meet you for a brew and chinwag in Blackpool* and ride the golden mile with you and maybe other people up and down the route could do the same? There's definitely a large South Wales contingency on the Cub90 board who'd do it I'm sure.
