Four Old Fogeys took a ride out today for Fox's birthday.
After a cuppa at Llantwit Beach and then on to Ogmore where I knocked on a car window asking if they'd take our pic... Three Cubs and a Van Van.
Fox, knapdog, Billyfix, Libby.
We then set off to previously unexplored lanes. With Billyfix's fascination with water, we had no idea what was to come ....
Ten minutes later, at a different ford, I tested the water and declared it too deep. Unperturbed, Billyfix, subsequently known as Moby Dickhead set off on his steed ....
Almost across, Moby's machine cut out. He put his foot down and "Gloop". The peaceful little valley was full of raucous laughter and a sort of squelching sound ...
He couldn't get back across as both his shoes and socks were sodden and his underpants ( must be a reason).
We met up a bit later after a nice ride...
Bit of a stop by the Daffs..
...and ended up with OAP, Fish, chips and curry for £5.50..... and soapy bubbles coming out of Moby's boots.
Great Birthday morning, Fox.

It's an Essex bike, they don't like water.
