North Coast 500
Off to Rhayader this weekend, Cub do. Up early on Sunday. Ride Home to Warington . Jump straight off one Bike onto the other. Plonk the Mrs on the back and up to Scotland to travel the North Coast 500. Dunno if it's a good idea or not? But hotels booked so no turning back.
The most mileage the Mrs has done on the back in one go is 30 mls and about 200mls in total . There may be a divorce looming .

Cool! Hope it goes well for you both.
If you don't have an intercom, get out and get one! You can deal with all the drips and grumbles as they arise, rather than get one big dollop of it when you stop, which ends up with 'I'm not getting on that f*****g thing again!'
Su and I love ours, really makes 2 up riding more enjoyable. It's the difference between a sociable ride out, and 'Being stuck on the back of a bike'

Re: North Coast 500
We did it last year on our 'big' bikes and it was fantastic.
So much so that the plan to do it again this year on Honda C90's was hatched - hence the introduction to C90 club...
We are leaving Bolton on August 13th for a week - six of us, five red 12 volters and a rogue blue one, all fitted with Lifan 110's as per your recommendation on the Blackpool run Bogger.....
Have a look at the youtube vid below - if that doesn't wet your appetite nothing will.

You're fortunate that Mrs Bogger is willing to ride pillion. Mrs knapdog won't even go a mile on the back for a coffee over on Marco's on a nice sunny day.Bogger wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2017 1:19 pmOff to Rhayader this weekend, Cub do. Up early on Sunday. It's one of my regrets that we can't have a touring holiday together.
This scenario does still have its advantages, of course

Sorry, forgot to wish you a brilliant trip. We had a great time in Scotland on Jogle and were sorry to leave.

Mrs Capitano's stance is that she will, and does ride pillion .. when it suits her and it's convenient ... which frankly is very rare! Much like the Peugeot Ludix which is kept fettled waiting for when she wants to use it, which is about once a year!knapdog wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2017 5:31 pmYou're fortunate that Mrs Bogger is willing to ride pillion. This is one of the reasons why the Goldwing plans got shelved. I faced the reality that for the number of times she'd ride pillion on it, it simply wasn't worth having one.
Bon Voyage, Bogger. Remember the camera!
