Four Old Fogeys (minus one) Ogmore by Sea Barbecue 14.6.17

This morning at 07.30 knapdog, billyfix and libby arrived at Ogmore for our annual outdoor breakfast by the sea. The ffox was at home plumbing (the depths).
All was going fine except the barby wouldn't light. I tried dipping some gathered sheep's wool into petrol to no avail.
Libby tipped his bike over to gather petrol in a polystyrene cup and the cup melted. We did however discover that petrol sodden polystyrene proves to be a very good firelighter!
Knapdog went off to do some rock balancing while Bill Grylls cooked the fodder and libby searched for suitable catapult material to destroy knapdog's boulders.
Local dog walkers however proved to be a calming influence on Fanny and Johnny by showing passing interest in the cubs and, luckily for them, declining offers of raw sausage, bacon and black pudding.
Great way to spend a morning. Up with the lark and back home by 11.00.
Always start and end with a picture of a sheep!
