The riding is easy. Raising that kind of money for charity is simply awesome! That's the hard part, any mug can ride a Cub.

He raised £1051. That's still £200 more than I managed.

Re: John o groats to lands end in under 24 hrs
There are a few way's you could time the event providing firm evidence of your achievement.
When Neil and I did the JoGLE our phones were tracked, and people were able to see our progress on the web.
When I did the 1000 miles in 24 hours, I did several things.
1. I registered with Iron Butt UK. They are an organisation supervising a register of long distance rides, and authenticating them. To do this I obtained petrol receipts, all paid with the same debit card with the time and location on them.
They also acknowledge and credit 'End to End' runs too, for any bike. It's free to get them to validate your run, and once you've done one you become an automatic member. It would be good to see a Honda 90 listed in the 'End to End' credits.
2. Further, I had a bespoke tracker built for me by my son, which enabled people to see my speed and location past and present, and follow me.
3. I filmed the whole thing on time lapse.
