a chap in bridlington did it for charity brian cundall raised £13k? did it in just over 23hrs but he stopped for fuel and something to eat

The riding is easy. Raising that kind of money for charity is simply awesome! That's the hard part, any mug can ride a Cub. ;)

I think I started this thread some time ago!
Been away for a while new member of the family too!
and still really want to do this awesome challange'
Re timing this event? if I can get a "pass" off the mrs what's every one happy with??

Also off subject I found out 2 chaps camped in our village the other night enroute to France on cubs' but left before I could get to meet them. Anyone on here know them??

There are a few way's you could time the event providing firm evidence of your achievement.

When Neil and I did the JoGLE our phones were tracked, and people were able to see our progress on the web.

When I did the 1000 miles in 24 hours, I did several things.

1. I registered with Iron Butt UK. They are an organisation supervising a register of long distance rides, and authenticating them. To do this I obtained petrol receipts, all paid with the same debit card with the time and location on them.

They also acknowledge and credit 'End to End' runs too, for any bike. It's free to get them to validate your run, and once you've done one you become an automatic member. It would be good to see a Honda 90 listed in the 'End to End' credits.

2. Further, I had a bespoke tracker built for me by my son, which enabled people to see my speed and location past and present, and follow me.

3. I filmed the whole thing on time lapse.
