Re: touring Australia' s NSW south coast on a C50
Anyhow,,,,still in bed with me shiela this morning.
Barrels honed and rings are in the piston, about ready to slip it in the bore with new gaskets.
But back to the past....waay waaaay back.
Im 17 again and it feels great to be free and winding my way south down the New South Wales south coast. Us Aussies sure have funny names for our states hey!
Must be the British heritage, I now reside in Queensland and just ten minutes south is the order to New South Wales! And if I was to keep riding south for a day or more, well definitly more if I was in my Honda step-thru, but do it easy on my Victory Vegas 1634cc,
Rode it home from Melbourne in VICTORIA, there we go again Victoria named after a British Queen of old and not as some may think, our favourite beer VB or Victoria Bitter.
Was she a bitter queen? Cant remember my history töo much VB decimated the ol brain cells over the years, and thats not counting mind expanding drugs!
Getting off track a little here....thats easy to do when youre an interstate time traveller
Oh you want the rest of the States??
Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory!
Now they sound more Aussie dont they.
Not as Aussie as Wollongong the town Im rapidly approaching on my trusty C50 back in 1974thougj

Bloody hell tryna type on a bloody phone whilst laying in bed on a fine sunny day in Godzone country Australia!
That last line above had me buggered couldn't get the friggin cursor shoyld be curser down the bottom corner.
Talking about bottom corners I've left out Tasmania the apple isle, climate similar to the UK
Though I havent been there.... Yet!
Tassie I mean, been to UK when I was barely old enough to remember, being born of Pommy parents, not convicts as most of our early immigrants were.
Steal a loaf of bread and get a free holiday in sunny Australia, complete with daily floggings on the trip over!
Ooops off track again!
Back to Wollongong after scraping around the coastal bends of Bulli, Towradgi, Fairy Meadow, (which is nowhere near Queensland I might add)
Im passing through Wollongong and now heading for Kiama the home of the world renowned Blowhole! .....Google it

341 views! Is that this thread or the whole Riding Stories section?
Do I have hundreds of fans eagerly awaiting my next installment,
Most of them unable to comment, overcome with shyness,?
Leaving my encouragement to the vocal few on this forum?
Time will tell......I got a C90 to do a bit more work on and its also a fine sunny day.
Decisions decisions....

Jeez mate! People are born, live, and die in a single episode of Neighbours, I reckon you're a scriptwriter for Eastenders, where Max is still having the same old affair 20 years on!
