Marlow washout

Post by Nigelspawton » Sun Jun 28, 2015 7:37 pm

just rode from Bicester to Marlow ( 31 miles) on my C50 LAGand spent the weekend at a mates reunion... All went well on Friday evening .... Till two miles outside Bicester the heavens opened to an unplanned hour long downpour ...( my first experience on any kind of bike in mini monsoon conditions)!.... I was determined not to carry any luggage do had all my gear stuffed into pockets ....( soon soaked too!)
The little blue machine performed faultlessly and got me there in just over an hour ( using some lovely single track roads over the Chilterns)
Just got back this evening and feel well eased after my first long ish ride out ... Yaaaay
