GOWER BIMBLE 2015
The turnout was poor with just four people turning up. That did not stop me, Hightech pete, Andrewwoey and Petes mate Nigel having a fantastic time. The camp site could have been a lot cheaper than £15 per night but the location was great.
On friday night me and pete went up the clubhouse for a pint. It was after a couple of pints that we found out that we had gatecrashed a wedding reception
If I hadn't opened my mouth we could of had free hot dogs.
Anyway I will post further details later but in the meantime here is a candidate for the 2016 calender

Re: GOWER BIMBLE 2015
The gower bimble was great fun. Myself, Hightech Pete, Andrew Woey and Petes mate Nigel had a lovely ride-out on Saturday covering around 80 miles around the Gower and west Wales. The bikes ran faultlessly. My bike Heinz really impressed me pulling like a tank as usual. I was a little worried due to the problem I had with the head gasket but he ran like a watch and never used a drop of oil.
Nigel took us to places that I never even knew existed. I must say that I was surprised that one of us never had a puncture as he took us through a narrow country lane where the hedges had just been cut. In my experience this spells puncture.
I met Pete on Friday afternoon at M&P and after a cup of tea we headed to the camp-site which is around 18 miles away. The weather on Friday morning was crap to say the least. It at least started to clear up before Pete arrived at M&P. On Friday evening me and Pete went for a quick pint of locally brewed real ale at the camp site club house. We then found out that we had actually gatecrashed a wedding reception (OOPS).
Andy arrived at the campsite the following day around mid day. We then went to mete Nigel at the entrance to Pembrey country park. I then took Heinz onto Cefn Sidan beach for a quick photo. The others chickened out taking their bikes over the sand dunes but I managed to get Heinz on and back off the beach......Just. We then headed for Burry Port where we got fish and chips which we ate at the harbour car park. After a bit of nosh we went to Kidwelly quay then on to Nigels house for a cuppa where there was a pair of red tailed kites hovering overhead.
It rained most of Sunday night but I was snug as a bug in a rug wearing my onesie.
Nigel and Pete headed home after the Bimble as it was pointless them heading back to the camp. Me and Andy went back to the camp for the night and went home on Sunday morning.
I would like to thank the Guys that turned up and I look forward to next year although I may look for a cheaper camp site as £15 per night is a little expensive.
In the meantime here are some photos

Re: GOWER BIMBLE 2015
Just out of curiosity did anyone else make it to the Gower bimble. I'm asking because me and Andy passed a red cub heading towards us and heading towards Gowerton on the Gower peninsular.
I did wave to the rider who waved back

Kev you said in your opening post the turnout was poor, quality over quantity counts. When we done France there was only 4 of us but I think I can say that we had a good rideout and enjoyed ourselves, more important than having to please a bigger crowed.
