i had a bank holiday with a spare sunday so sligo for the annual honda 50 run was my destination..
with 130 miles to sligo in the west of ireland my buddy in kildare was going in his van so i drove my c90
the 35 miles to his place and we loaded up the cubs and hit the road..
rain rain and a bit more rain and we kinda knew what to expect for this bike run...
on arrival in tubbercurry where run was on there had been no rain yet..
but it wasent far away.
the crowds turned up despite the weather and a good 40 50 bikes took of
for a nice tour of sligo and into mayo 54 miles in total
we did get a good soaking but it was still a great day and took my mind off having missed barmouth..
i was dropped off about 15 miles from my house and i arrived in the door at 9pm on the dot soaked to the skin..
and having done 105 miles in total on my c90
next big run out is the ring of kerry and that should be a good un as a lot of visitors are comming from overseas and beyond..
so goodbye for now and ill see you all in kerry for some lovely beer
