our run was included in the 2 day festivities and i drove the short distance there on my cub 90(42 miles)
i took the n3 new motorway and it took approx 90 mins .as its a new road it has not one but 2 tolls but at 70 cent each time its not going to break the bank!!!!
it rained 5 minutes into my journey there and i satayed wet all day even though the sun came out and shined all day.
when i arrived in kells there was a stunt rider on doing his wheelies and stuff like that and it was good to watch ,but it was soon time to head off and the approx 30 hondas(small turnout)took off to the amusement of all the big bikers there watching. we done the 50 mile circuit in a couple of hours and stopped a couple of times for petrol and to have the food on offer which was very nice (spicy chicken and soup)after the run we went back for pig on the spit which was tasty it was award time worst bike best bike etc and the prizes were lovely crystal plates with kells road race on them 2010 very nice
it was time for heading home now and 8pm was quickly approaching (and the dark) 1 hour 20 mins and i was home and 137 miles done today .on my little honda 90
