Either Operator error or altitude sickness.
Depends how unkind you want to be.

Re: The spain run.
Yo Dave! Glad you got back ok, how did the rally go?
I don't get the 'operator error' bit above but you may have hit the nail on the head with the altitude bit.
I had a blistering run up from Dover last night, I came across on the 7pm (UK time) ferry from Calais, and was home (140 miles from Dover) at 11:30pm!
Bike ran sweet as a nut, sat on between 60 to 65 mph which with the reduced radius of the now bald front tyre equates to 55/60 mph.
I said to Bogger the bike now feels as though it's properly run in.
Still got loads of photos to post up, but absolutely shattered this morning, and my backside feels like I've been to one of Elton's parties....

Re: The spain run.
Ay up Newt,
Yup made it to the rally after spending Friday night in my own bed - bliss.
Took the Tiger to the dieselbike rally and pushed the big beastie to 85 on the motorway just for the hell of it.
The sun shone brightly and it was just like being back on the continent.
I'm glad your home safe and sound.
Epic trip.
Dave
