Mission:Implausible

Well, I saw your link over on cub90.co.uk, and am wishing you all the best.

Here's my riding story, of my trip that I did on my Cub in June 2007:

http://www.mission-implausible.org.uk

All the details of why I did it, as well as a (now completed) diary are on there, plus links to the pictures as well. The diary is also available as a complete, downloadable PDF document from:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/13868259/Miss ... ible-Diary

Buying my Cub for the trip was the reason I got into the Cub thing in the first place- I had originally intended to sell it after the trip, but like so many people, I'm now completely hooked!

I've actually been busy today, and have put a load of my pictures together into a slideshow, added some music, and put it up on Youtube. I've been talking about doing it for ages, but it's taken me nearly two years to get off my arse and do it!

Have a look at it here, if you're interested:

I have just read some of the diary! and it really is an interesting read! Perhaps our trip in the summer may not be as easy as we thought ;)

As there are several of you doing it. it will make it a lot easier. There were several times when I was almost at the end of my tether, but when there's a group of you, it's a lot easier to laugh of your problems.

You'll love it, believe me!

Could you possibly post up any information you have regarding your route? Do you have any route files for map programs or so on?

Thanks

I have all my routes on Garmin Mapsource (I used a Garmin SatNav). It's also possible that I still have an original route on MS Auto route, but that would be on my other computer, not this laptop.

If you want to look at the Mapsource files, and have the software to do so, I'll be more than happy to send them to you. :D

Brilliant! I just had a quick look, I look forward to reading about your adventure in depth. Best bit for me so far, is the money you raised! I always think anyone can do the ride, but the hard bit is approaching, winning and collecting from, sponsors. Very well done!
