Old or new cub CDI for testing

Wanted for a project.

Going to try and make a computer programmable one to adjust timing. Need one to use for testing purposes on the bench.

Does anyone have on kicking around in the garage i could have cheap??? :)

i have a fully ajustable cdi , it has a small copper screw which you turn clockwise to ajust timing, :D

i think it would be quite a job to program one by computer it would need a memory system,with programming software, firmware etc

vortex make a pc programable one for 4 stroke motorbike engines but their £300 lol think ill stick with the premuim unleaded

Studying electronic and electrical eng at uni ;) Programming isn't a prob ;) I plan to use a pic controller to make it have variable timing across the rev range as specified by an excel document!
