is it the same pitch as a cub? if it is and the cub chain is longer you could remove some links to make the correct chain

Trip to/phone call to a Yamaha dealers would be a better idea, part number is 94580-25082, but i doubt they'd beat this price on Ebay for a quality DID one...

going to change the adjustment screw first and scretch the spring if that doesnt work I will be on evilbay for a chain.
